This is a really good formula. Long lasting waterproof nearly smudge-resistant and glides on easily. I got Golden Black and I love the touch of sparkle added to the black eyeliner. It can be used for a cat eye look but make sure the tip is sharpened. The sharpener is conveniently included in the back and while it's a bit awkward to use at first (it's very small and is much different than a typical pencil sharpener) you can still create a decent point. I was very satisfied! I also love the box it comes in- it has Dara from 2NE1 as the model!
