this thing has the weirdest texture I've ever seen. it looks easily spreadable yet when you put your finger in it it feels solid. once you smear it on your face it feels like you have some kind of powder on but it's pretty creamy?? it covers pores very nicely and it makes your skin look very matte. I read on a blog that someone used this as a makeup primer so I gave it a try as one. I use a foundation with a moderately thick consistency and this balm made it quite hard to apply it (the foundation just didn't glide on my face like it usually does) but once I managed to put on my foundation it looked amazing! my foundation is a great one a quality product but it could never cover my skin problems perfectly--until I put this balm under! I can recommend using this as a primer and you don't have to feel bitter about "wasting" it when you don't only apply it over loose pores but all of your face because there's a lot of product in the egg! :)
