.... only temprarily. I would say for about 6 hours. After use the skin really looks evened out in skin tone. Depending on how long you leave the mask on the whiter/or less white it gets. It is great to pull out temorary redness of the skin (f.e. caused by washing) but with deep seated redness (caused by f.e. acne, like in my case) it will not cause such a massive change that that will totally disappear. It just make it look less "angry". A bit of redness will stay behind. But well, after applying makeup that will disappear then ^_^ . But some of the redness in skin can reappaer after the aforementioned amount of time. Still, i loke this product. I think it is not for permanent use. I think of it more like a quick fix for the worst "reaally bad skin days". For this, it does his job excellent.
