Like all lip tints, it works best on exfoliated, smooth lips. I recommend using it alone: don't layer it over lip balm. Application is smooth and it's easily spreadable due to the watery consistency. It did not dry out my lips, or cause any tingling.

I am a fan of the doe foot applicator, since it makes application very smooth.
It looks glossy once applied, but soon dries up giving a matte finish. It's slightly sticky at first, but turns completely non sticky after a while.

It has a pleasant smell that lingers for a short time, and then fades away.

Since my skin tone is tan and my lips are pigmented, finding lip tints that look natural is quite the challenge. Applying one layer was sufficient to cover my pigmentation, but that made the lip tint look bold, and not natural.

I found that a more natural look can be obtained by carefully dabbing the product on my lips, and by slowly building up the colour.

Keep in mind that it dries very quickly, so be careful not to make any mistakes.

Depending on the amount of product you use, the colour would vary. Applying one coat, made my lips look more red rather than orange. Bear in mind that I have a warm skin tone. For me, a more "orange" tint could be obtained by using less product. This is shown in the photos of the swatches I made.

What I loved about the product was its amazing staying power. Even after 12 hours, and even after meals, the tint on my lips persisted. The swatches on my hand lasted over 24 hours. Once completely dry, the tint doesn't transfer onto clothes, mugs etc.

Make sure you apply the tint evenly. Patchy areas with more product take more time to dry, and the tint in those areas are transferrable.

All in all, it's a great product. A bottle will last a long time, and it's so affordable.
