This is an okay cleansing oil, it's not the best but not the worst either. It would be good for a first cleansing oil. It has a very oily texture so you may need 2 pumps just to spread it over your face. It has a soda-like smell but it isn't overpowering. You have to work it into your skin a bit to cleanse properly which can be an issue and you definitely have to foam cleanse afterwards or it'll leave a sticky film on your skin.
