Despite being sulfate + alcohol free, this BB cream may be a little bit of a gamble for some, due to it containing various fragrances as well as some lowly-rated comedogenic ingredients. However, I have sensitive/combination skin and have not experienced any issues. My skin remains soft and hydrated underneath - no creases or flakiness.
It has:
- UV protection from zinc oxide, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate & titanium dioxide
- Brightening properties from arbutin
- Two anti-ageing compounds from ceramide 3 & adenoisine
- Sodium hyaluronate to enhance the appearance of dry/flaky skin
The packaging is nice and gives the product a luxurious edge with its maroon & gold colour scheme and reflective nozzle. The expiration date can be found on the brim at the back of the tube. It comes with a pump applicator, making application more convenient and hygienic.
Available in several shades (milk beige, light beige, natural beige, honey beige & golden beige), this BB cream glides smoothly across the skin with no dragging issues when using fingers, though I've found that opting for a beauty blender helps distribute it for a more natural finish. If you tend to favour a more dewy complexion, this product not be your thing - the finish is not quite matte, but it definitely provides a fresh, satin base.
Very easy to blend with other products and sits nicely on top of my daily sunscreens (for reference, I rotate between Kao Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence + ROHTO Skin Aqua Super Moisture Milk) without the burden of piling, etc.
Coverage is long-lasting - the way it adheres to the skin is great + it isn’t difficult to remove. I have worn this for an entire 10-12 hours without any setting powder or touch-ups and have not witnessed any oxidisation/wear and tear during that period. It compliments the skin with a beautiful & dreamy glow, correcting uneven skintone + covering blemishes quite well, though I do use a little concealer just to top it all off.
This BB cream is my favourite at the moment & I have just purchased a couple more from BeautynetKorea - I really recommend trying it if you are searching for a new BB cream anytime soon.
